FAQ

What services do you offer?

We offer everything from design to the building and installation of custom cabinetry and countertops.

What is “Custom” cabinetry?

With custom cabinetry, you have the freedom to choose the style of cabinets, color, hardware, and other design elements to suit your personal preferences. Additionally, custom cabinetry ensures a perfect fit for your space, without the need for unsightly fillers or improperly designed areas due to predetermined cabinet sizes. This tailored approach allows for a seamless and cohesive look that elevates the overall functionality and aesthetic of your home.

What's your typical lead time for a project?

The lead time for a project is determined by its size. For a standard job, we typically require 6 to 8 weeks from the time when all selections and designs are finalized, and deposits are paid, with customer sign-off. Please note that larger projects may require more time to get through production. For smaller projects, such as a single cabinet, vanity, or other minor renovation, we can often complete the work in as little as a couple of weeks.

How durable is your finish?

Common kitchen items such as ketchup, vinegar, mustard, and others can surprisingly cause damage to cabinet and countertop surfaces. To ensure that our products are built to withstand these everyday hazards, we not only meet but exceed KCMA standards for durability and weight capacity. We use a Conversion Varnish for all of our finish coatings, which is a two-part system that is exceptionally durable and surpasses the KCMA quality standards. This ensures that our products are not only beautiful but also long-lasting, even with regular use in a busy kitchen.

How do I clean and care for my cabinetry?

To maintain the finished look of your cabinets, it’s important to clean up any spills or messes immediately. For routine cleaning, use a high-quality furniture cleaner and warm water with a soft, lint-free cloth. When cleaning, be sure to follow the grain of the wood and avoid using a dishcloth or sponge that may contain residual grease or detergent. To prevent damage, do not use products with bleach, ammonia, or abrasive additives, and avoid using scouring pads, steel wool, or powdered cleaners. After cleaning, dry the surfaces immediately with a soft cloth to prevent water damage and keep your cabinets looking their best.

How do I clean and care for my Granite Countertop?

To clean your granite countertops, mix warm water and mild dish soap, then wipe down the surface with a microfiber towel. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that can scratch or damage the stone. For stubborn stains, make a paste of baking soda and water (for oil-based stains) or hydrogen peroxide (for water-based stains). Apply the paste to the stain, cover it with plastic wrap, and tape down the edges. Let it sit for a couple of days, then rinse it off. Always do a spot test first to ensure that the cleaning method won’t affect the color or finish of the stone. Remember to reseal your granite countertops annually to protect them from stains.

How do I clean and care for my Quartz Countertop?

For routine cleaning of your quartz countertop, use warm water and mild dish soap. Unlike natural materials such as granite, quartz is largely stain-resistant due to its non-porous surface, meaning it does not absorb spills. If you encounter a stubborn mark that cannot be removed with soap and water, use a glass cleaner and a non-abrasive sponge. It’s worth noting that quartz countertops do not require sealing, as a permanent seal is created during fabrication. This makes it easy to maintain your countertop’s appearance providing a beautiful and durable surface for your home.
